Rounded up to 4 stars - should start off by saying that I am not a fan of Second Chance Romance, but I love Emily Henry, so many of my thoughts about this are biased against that trope from the start.

My favorite parts of this were the nice moments between friends and found family, and the romance was very secondary to me. I actually found myself rooting for the couple to *not get back together, because I just felt it was all too easily wrapped up in a nice neat package. I wanted more with the MC and her friends, I wanted more with her and her family, I wanted more of her making decisions for herself and even though that was the point of this book especially at the end, I was left wanting more.

Overall I enjoyed this but there were just some itches it didn’t scratch for me in a romance.
