Midnight Everlasting by S.M. Stelmack
5.0
Midnight Everlasting is the second book int the UnderCity Chronicles and can easily be read as a standalone novel. Some of the characters from Undertow (book one) make an appearance in this book as secondary characters. While it's not critical to read Undertow before Midnight Everlasting, it'll definitely enhance your understanding of the tunnels and the creatures living there.
While the first book of this series focused more on the Moles/Rawheads, Midnight Everlasting focuses more on the Rat Queen and her history within the tunnels under London. This story thrilling, suspenseful, action packed, with a touch of romance. This book will suck you into the under world of tunnels and won't let you go until long after you finish the story. S.M. Stelmack has a way with words that will transport you into the heat if the action. The story flows nicely and the dialogue feels natural. The characters are intriguing and well balanced.
This is one story that you shouldn't miss!
