First off, I wasn’t that into the first book so I wasn’t holding out much hope for this one but dang.
This one hit me straight in all of the feels, my first blubbering read of 2023 and I have no regrets.
This is the sweetest read about grieving a love one and loving someone through the process.
Matt is the most caring best friend, even if he did selfishly go into a part relationship knowing he already had feelings.
The self growth was on point, I don’t think there’s much complaining to do about this.
I do wish it was longer in some way, I’m not sure how. I didn’t want their story to end that’s for sure.
Tw; loss of a loved one (parent) and grief surrounding that.
