I never ever give books 1-star cause if I don't like a book, I'll just DNF it. I love supporting dark romance indie authors and I wanted to give this one a shot. I honestly skimmed over the last half of it but the MMC is abusive and the FMC is stupid and always has sex with them after he's abusive. I understand that he has some SERIOUS childhood trauma but absolutely not.

Here is quite possibly the worst line I have ever read: "We both agree that I would try therapy for a month and see how it goes and then Ariella said she would let me try anal with her."
