I’m surprised people liked this one less than the first (I’m not, the main love interest was fighting for part of the book - there was still a ton of sex anyway, and it’s called character development?). There was slightly more character development than the first, so I found it much more entertaining. Some emotional moments, but overall similar vibes to the first: plot-driven, a bit uninspired, but entertaining enough.
