I’m not really sure what I was expecting, but it wasn’t that. And I am not complaining.

This couple was insane. Like from the chemistry to the constant bickering to the jealousy to the way they showed care for each other. It went from one of the cringiest first encounters to the most tender of love. I was obsessed with them.

Reid was amazing. Fuck boys turned doting boyfriends are my kryptonite. But Atticus? He was just perfect. I empathize with him a lot, and we kind of have similar life views which was especially endearing to me. And the way that Reid took care of Atticus with absolutely zero hesitation and going off of just his attention to detail when it came to his boyfriend. Ugh. I loved them so much.

I just wish there was more depth to the background stories. Reid’s relationship with his dad was so weird and just not written well. Like maybe the author decided to make this whole conflict and then gave up halfway through and decided it would be easier for them to get along. And don’t even get me started on the family business. Could not tell you a single thing about something that seemed like it was supposed to be a big plot point and then brushed under the rug as well.

Overall, huge couple goals. I am in love with them.
