Win by Harlan Coben

4.0

I have read a few other Harlan Coben books, but I haven't been going through them in order and I have found them a little hit and miss. I thought this one was a big hit. Although that might be because it hit on a few of my personal favourite type of characters; old money of any description, vigilante justice, sort of psychopathic, sort of charming... think the BBC's Sherlock. Even though this is American we get the same kind of feel in this book. You root for a person who is objectively not the good guy but they have charisma that draws you in. I did guess quite a lot of what happens in the story but then as you know I'm quite good at that, so that didn't dull my enjoyment.

The main character was my favourite but there were other great characters too, another favourite of mine being the bartender Kathleen. You get it, girl. Anyway, it's a shame this in the only one in this series but since it's called book one, I'm hoping for more.
