I loved this book overall, but I struggled to enjoy the romance elements. There were diverse, strong, likeable, and flawed characters, but I found their relationship conflicts and interests a bit lacking in intensity, detail, and development. Overall, a cozy magical book about a South Asian witch who loves tea and is learning to love and connect with herself and others.
