This might be my favourite book I have read so far this year.

I don't know how to adequately explain how much I loved this book. I picked it up after a bit of a reading slump thinking I would take it slow and get back into reading, but wow, it completely engrossed me. I have no doubt I will be reaching for this book over and over, it is easily going to become one of my all-time favourites. It's already a comfort book for me, like a big hug once you get to the end of it.

It's absurd and quirky and chaotic and SO funny! It has interesting characters with complex dynamics and a quirky but high-stakes plot, the full scope of which is revealed slowly through the non-linear narrative. It is very stylistic, which may not be for everyone, but I think that's the charm of the book!

I will be recommending this to everyone and anyone.
