My favourite John Green book so far. Yes--this is exactly what it's like to live with mental illness. It is very refreshing to see it accurately portrayed in a story that is still adventurous, young, and mysterious. This feeling of being there but not quite because you're mind is travelling, all while life keeps unfolding is a daily constant. I would highly recommend this to every neurotypical person seeking to understand neurodiversity a bit better, and to every neurodivergent person trying to feel a bit less alone. Bravo!
