Another random library loan for me and based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll seek out more from this author.

This book wasn’t bad by any means … it just wasn’t good either. It was extremely slow-paced, to the point returning to it was a bit of a chore, until something like 28ish chapters in, by which time I had predicted everything that happened, so while something FINALLY happened, it was a bit underwhelming.
