Tales of a Cosmic Possum: From the Appalachia Mountains to the Cotton Mills by Sheila Ingle
4.0
I learn new things everyday and this book taught me quite a bit.
Written in a way that seemed as though I was sitting across from the author listening to a captivating family history.
The Appalachian life was much different from my Grandmother's and mother's story, and yet so much seem similar.
There were stories that were heartbreaking. Some offered a look at how hope could see anyone through hard times. Others gave insight into the love of family.
This is a great book that offers an eyeopening experience into a time that America has forgotten.
