I genuinely have no words. Like what did I just read?  The suffering of those three girls were ridiculous. At the hands of that evil woman Shelly Knotek and her wee hen pecked husband Dave. I don't even know how to write a proper review for this! Shelly was such a horrible and vindictive woman. She has no love for anyone apart from herself. She was lazy and just a horror show of a mother. Dave was just in complete denial the whole time. His accounts made me roll my eyes. I don't know why he thought Shelly was completely blameless in the abuse and murders. I read with this book with genuine fear for the girls, Shane, Kathy, Ron and Mac. The girls sounds like they are a strong unit and have escaped Shelly and Dave.
