The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury
5.0
I’m mad at myself for not reading this sooner. Ray Bradbury writes about me. My life. My boyhood. What I was and always wanted to be. The Halloween Tree captures what it means to be a twelve year old boy on the one night of the year made for twelve year old boys. The race through time to save Pipkin was breathless, and scary, and exhilarating, and helter skelter chaos. And a beautiful treat. Oh such a beautiful treat.
