The Wife Upstairs by Rachel Hawkins
5.0
Type of read: Commuter read.
What made me pick it up: I believe it was on one of the many recommended reading lists I receive via email.
Overall rating: Jaw-dropping. Literally, multiple times throughout this book my jaw hit the floor. I'm also a sucker for any book that has liberal use of the f-word. I was glad that I enjoyed this as an audiobook because the different narrations made it easy to jump from one person's telling to another. Some of the story surrounding Jane got a little cliche and predictable, but it did fall in with the entire setting and timeline of the book. I think it says something that I sailed through this book in just over three days. I would recommend 'The Wife Upstairs' to anyone who likes thrillers with a little romance and sass thrown in.
