"It'd just been a relief to think that for a moment, [Rhysand] might have been as lonely as me." - Feyre
Wow! How is the second book in the series better than the first? I did not expect any of what happened to happen.
Rhysand was probably the biggest curveball for me. I didn't expect him to be so caring andhe sacrificed so much for his people and those close to him. It was so heartbreaking when he talked about Under The Mountain, yet he still found time to be there for Feyre when she was struggling with her nightmares.
I can't believe I would say this, especially after reading the entirety of book one, butFuck Tamlin, I could not believe him. From the beginning, he acted like he wasn't awake as Feyre puked her brains out!
The ending wasn't what I expected and I am shook on what will happen next! I think I might need a moment before I start the next book because I need to mentally prepare myself!
