I think this is a great entryway to understanding what feminism is and what it should be used for. I’ve witnessed a lot of women claim that they are feminist but have the same ideals as liberal cis/het white men. Feminism is meaningless and hurtful if it is not inclusive.

I think almost everyone who has seen her Ted Talk “ The Danger of a Single Story” many times in school, but this should also be a required watch/read.
