Beautifully Fractured: Front Range University Book 1 by Michele Lenard

4.0

"Remember that wherever you are, or wherever I am, that's just geography. It's temporary."

This one was a little hurtful, but it works out in the best way.
I wasn't sure what to expect in this one but it sure wasn't that.
Liam & Cruz took me on a journey, one that was not without the bumps along the way but good bumps.
The sports aspect had me smiling cause heck yes Lacrosse is superior to football, sorry Cruz but it is!

There is a lot in this book between what you get in the prologue and what you get in the now with both Cruz & Liam.
Both of these two have been hurt and in the way that it leaves a mark and a scar on top of it preventing them from moving forward in a sense if not physically.
I wanted to hug Liam so much cause he had me tearing up when he finally opens up. Both times. It's always the ones that we think we can trust that hurt us the deepest and the worst.
The brightness in this book is definitely Cruz. His outlook and analyzing is what keeps him going but also Liam once they go from room mates to best friends to more.
The representation in this book for Cruz is perfection. We need more of this and the understanding, it gave their relationship that added plus side.
Liam is hands down the best. He is so understanding, patient but also broody to the point it's cute with his glare he gives out when deep in thought.
There was no rush, there was no miscommunication just some angst thrown in there.
Cruz & Liam's story is one that paced itself and the outcome was perfect.

This is without a doubt a spicy book
