This book single handedly made me laugh at loud, cry my fucking eyes out and, at the same time, it made me aware of another dimension of History and the -so different from mine- lives some people have lived.

I know Evelyn Hugo is fiction but i know there is someone - probably not named Evelyn Hugo - that has suffered a similar journey, gone through her opression and abuse and heartbreak.

I love this book for so many reasons. I see myself in it. You will - somehow - see yourself in it too.
