Alex by Sawyer Bennett

5.0

There is just something I love about books with a bad boy that let's his sweet side show through. And this book did not let me down. This book was well written and Ms. Bennett was able to get you emotionally involved in the writing as well as the characters, there was even a part that made me a little teary eyed.

Alex and Sutton both carry scars from rough childhoods, the only difference is that Sutton has moved last hers and Alex hasn't. With the help of Sutton, Alex is transforming from a self proclaimed hockey prick into a man that can truly care for others. The first half of this book has a good amount of sexual tensions which then leads to some decent sex scenes (not the best I've ever read but they were still steamy). Be prepared to fall in love with this sexy hockey player.

The way that Alex and Sutton's story ends is fabulous, you really feel like there's closure and you're not left hanging. I look forward to the next addition to the Cold Fury series.
