Reflections in a Golden Eye by Carson McCullers
This was the final read in my McCullers' season. It kind of suffered in my mind from being read after her other novels which were like one continuous tale of a dusty town full of broken-hearted people. This one didn't seem to be part of that long tale which I'd loved so much—though it contains plenty of hearts to be broken—and plenty of other aspects to make it well worth reading.
