Unexpected fate by R.S. McKenzie
3.75
This is the first book by RS McKenzie I have read and this was such a good start. This book is a sweet short read with a lot of feelings and heat. 🥰🔥
Unexpected Fate is the second book in the Fair Falls Fated series but I feel like you can read it as a stand-alone.
As a reader of Teen Wolf fanfiction I am not a stranger to the universe of Alpha - Omegas, kn*tting and Mpreg so with that background this book was quite tame.
It is a classic boss employee story with a hard-working assistant (Benji) and a boss (Rome) who is tough as nails and clashes more than get along. But they are also attracted to each other and when Benji unexpectedly goes into heat Rome decides to help and this is where the story starts. But the storyline is not only about Benji and Rome's spicy moments, it takes on some harder subjects so I would advise you to read the trigger warnings beforehand.
It has been a minute since I read a book set in an Omega universe, but this one makes me want to find more books like this and go a different route than I usually do.
