I feel like this a common sentiment but the book was too long especially for single POV. So many things were repeated, I felt like I was reading the same scene over and over again. I was hopping this was going to be a good starting point for me into the authors other books, but I don’t think I can handle the length. If you want a real slow burn like so slow nothing happens till the last 30 pages, this is it. The only interesting parts of the book I feel like were wrapped up so quickly. For a book so long I just don’t think the pacing of the story makes sense.
