This was a high 4.75, this was definitely an incredible read and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t even typically like fantasy. The character development is amazing and so thoughtful. It literally had my crying in public haha, but what I most enjoyed about this book was the development of love. Platonic, familial, and romantic love are all explored in this book in the most beautiful ways and it was so humanizing to read. The author knew exactly whose perspective to give the reader at at every given point to create the most complex stories. It’s a 600+ page book and I still wish there was more, that’s a sign of very good writing.
