Truly an amazing and insightful book about growing up with an abusive parent and the struggles of child actors. One thing to note though is to check the trigger warnings. There are very descriptive scenes of bulimia that can trigger readers easily. Regardless of them, I loved this book. McCurdy’s writing style is so fresh and personal. Would 100% recommend this book.
