My first Emily Henry!! I won’t lie, I didn’t love Miles in the first 20 pages. I was thinking “no way he will be the love interest, that’s way too predictable”. And you know what? Sure, it was. But what wasn’t predictable was the character that Henry was able to create in Miles. I was kicking my feet by the middle of the book. He is so lovely and wonderful and just perfect for Daphne. I also really liked Daphne as a character. I wanted her to be happy and was cheering for her the whole time. Such great characters, such a great story. Oh also, f*** Petra and Peter - and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Oh and I don’t forgive Sadie. F*** her too!
