How to Blow It with a Billionaire by Alexis Hall
5.0
5 ⭐️
Spice: 🌶️🌶️/5
Format: ebook
“I trust you. With the worst of me, as well as the best, and all the squishy ambiguous bits in between.”
Ouch. This one hurted. Think Fifty Shades Darker but gay and British and, like, actually darker.
I loved this book. Not as much as the first, and I did debate between giving this 4 or 5 stars but eventually settled on 5. Arden went from being empowered and knowing his worth to kind of whiney. But honestly he’s babygirl and I love him no matter what. His inner dialogue continues to be iconic and everything to me.
I liked Caspian a bit more this book. Until like the 85% mark but that’s pretty standard for love interests. They tend to be problematic for the sake of the drama. I feel like the first quarter, if not half, of the next book is going to be heartbreakingly sad before getting happy again. I can’t wait to let this series completely ruin me.
