Why Fish Don't Exist: A Story of Loss, Love, and the Hidden Order of Life by Lulu Miller

4.0

Well this one was a heck of a ride, starting as sort of pop science/history, turning into an exposé-turned-elaborate-fuck-you, and then landing as a sort of love story. I liked it. Whether Radiolab is stamped all over this book or vice versa I can't say for sure, but there's definitely a kinship between the sort of story-telling that such shows do and what Miller (a Radiolab producer, after all) offers here. It's a gripping sort of style and a fascinating read.
