VERY old school upper YA.
Like... very, I can save the world, Hunger Games-eqsue, magic academy, fated mates, chosen-one type book.
It was fun!
It was a nice departure from the dark shifter romances that are popular right now.
I will say, being upper YA (and if it ISNT then this is TRULY an issue), my biggest qualm is that the curse words and the terms for anatomy during sexy scenes were swapped out with nick names and werewolf puns. It was annoying as an adult reader. It may not bother someone younger, or someone who knew ahead of time this was NOT an adult-adult book. But rather (to re-confirm) an upper YA book.
