The Perfect Rake by Anne Gracie

It was an okay read. There were moments in the story that I was very eager to read, laughing out loud, and deeply interested. While other parts seemed to lag. There were some annoyingly old words that I had to look up (and I haven't had to look up the meaning of a word since I was in high school). So the writing has a bit of an old time feel to it. The romance at times was wonderful but I felt it was stagnant near the middle of the story.

It wasn't a bad book but neither was it an amazing book. If you want a historical romance to fill up your time between books, then this would be a good one.
