Happiness for Beginners by Katherine Center

3.0

2.5 rounded up, another case of a conundrum where the story is simultaneously too bloated and has no room to breathe but it also has so little to say that the plot goes in circles way too long and then rushes to tie up the ends in the last 1/3. This book was written in 2015 and I’ve really liked Center’s newer books so this is (thankfully) a blip. Also I’m literally watching the Netflix movie as I write this and I can’t decide if all the changes they made are improvements or not.
