The overall concept is intriguing. The uncertainty of what is happening is on purpose, but maybe it’s just me - this book is highly reviewed - but it was kind of a chore to finish. There was so much description about everything regressing it felt like no plot was happening from 50-85%. I wish there was more about Pat and Jory and less about trying to figure out the environment. I am also new to PKD for whatever that is worth.
