“I’m like my junkyard. Rough around the edges, but full of surprises and hidden gems.”
The big man finally gets his happily ever after..
Ezra & Frank had me confused at first but then it all clicked together.
This was a very unexpected book for how this series has been going up until this point but I am so glad that finally Frank gets to be happy.
I never thought it would turn out the way it did as I was reading, I really thought it was going a different way but the way it goes left me undecided on how I felt about Ezra.
Frank has been through so much but when he finally takes something for himself it is taken away and he lets it go except it comes back but with extra baggage he never expected to come to his door.
Ezra has always wanted more. More money, more status, just more of a better cushy lifestyle. His plans for that shatter right in front of him when he sees something he shouldn't and runs to the only person who he feels safe with.
Ran from one killer to another killer, unknowingly.
While I liked this book, I got annoyed with Ezra and his attitude at times. A princess in Burberry in a junkyard. It came down to his upbringing in the end before we actually get to see more of Ezra and the person underneath his mask to appreciate him.
Frank was the same but different in this book for some reason. Maybe because the focus was on him more than anyone else and we finally got to peel back the layers to the man who takes care of everyone else and finally get to know him better and the why of things.
The spice is there but in a softer way I'd say, a more caressing way. It was a nice change from Dex, a palate cleanser if you will haha.
This one had the added age gap aspect to it along with the size difference which made it so good.
The way these two care about each other is shown in different ways but still it's there and it makes it all that much more meaningful to each other.
Added bonus is we get to see everyone else from the other books, it's a nice catch up!
The triggers are there, not as heavy but still there.
Jump in and get to know Frank & Ezra but also catch up with everyone else in this junkyard family.
