For fans of Greek myth retelling, this will probably be a ‘fine but forgettable’ choice. I just think in the pretty large list of myth retellings that this is neither the genre nor the author’s strongest work. It’s not bad per se, but it is an inch deep and a mile wide. This book basically arcs a huge timeline of the Olympian gods and so the plot is whisper thin in points.
