The Gravity of Us by Phil Stamper

Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.
The why I hate this book and felt the urge to DNF it :

- it's insta love and I'm sorry but it's really bad. You know him since 4 days, stop acting like he's the love of your life, you don't know his favorite color, music tastes, what he likes. You don't know him and have no reason to love him.

- the writing style is.... not really my cup of tea. It's not that it's bad but it's not good either

- the social media thing. Idk it was bad. Like the man has 500k followers but 300k people on his live. It doesn’t work like it you know ?

- Cal. He's the reason number 1. I HATE him. Hate in capital letters. He's insufferable. Here's why (yeah I need a list only for him)

1. He knows that his best friend is in a really bad situation (like w/ her parents, w/ money and all) and... he doesn't call her. He only thinks about him. And when he call, it's to complain or talk alone about his stupid crush. He's selfish as possible.

2. He doesn’t care about his mother anxiety. And he doesn’t care about hurting people.

3. He said : "Look, if you’re still figuring things out and kissing another boy is such a shattering hyper big deal to you, call me later" and "I can tell he’s panicked, but that he wants this.". Like make him shut the fuck up. It will be better for all of us.

4. He's just a really bad mc and I don’t like it (after I havn't met even one lovely character in this book so💀
