A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas
5.0
Type of read: Lunch/Weekend Read.
What made me pick it up: I started the ACOTAR series at the end of 2023 and I'm very excited to see what else is in store with the next installment.
Overall rating: My favorite in the series so far! I love the world and character-building that is happening and any book that gives me more Cassian and Az, I'm 100% here for it. While Feyre is still the main character and where the book's POV comes from, I'm enjoying learning more about the other characters, their backgrounds, and what makes them who they are. Maas does an amazing job layering the different characters, scenes, and storylines to make it one cohesive tale. Bring on book #3.5! Side note - I'm going into Frost and Starlight knowing that it's format as a novella and supplement to bridge book #3 to book #4 may not meet my current excitement from the series...here's hoping I'm wrong.
Reader's Note: ACOTAR includes (very) mild sexual relationships and themes of war, abuse, torture, and murder.
