listen, I don't really like time travel, ok? there are tropes that don't work for me and I don't like. BUT this, despite time travel being A Thing, it doesn't FEEL like a time travel focused story. the love between two 'enemies' in the middle of a war is the focus and this kept me enthralled. I'm crying, I loved this. but also: how dare you do this to my heart, el-mohtar & gladstone. HOW DARE YOU!!!
