There’s something unbelievably frustrating about going into a book expecting it to be a five star read and it ending as a one star. I thought I would be perfect. I mean enemies to lovers sapphic romance sounds cute, funny and delightful but unfortunately I was just annoyed the whole time. Their romance is anything but believable. Elle is so self-centred and easily upset. She eavesdrops and gets mad when her girlfriend of one month (fake dating) or weeks? (real dating) didn’t exclaim their love to her mom. Like, Elle chill out and let her explain (not that she even owes you an explanation, you were eavesdropping).
Concluding Thoughts: Elle sucks, didn’t really like Darcy and guess I’ll have to look elsewhere for the perfect sapphic romance
