Dream House as witty recommendation. The dream house is a surreal memoir about queer abuse that takes place in a house that we have all been to but it has also never existed. This is an intimate look at a person's life and the hardships of the expectations surrounding WLW relationships. When reading this book I felt both haunted and cleansed. The idea that we all have a place, a time, and a person that we return to in our minds when we are wounded is incredible and so deeply human.
