I had original bought this book because of the nostalgia of the Twilight series but I read that as a preteen/teenager who was unaware of the world and now as an adult, this book just isn’t it. If this book had come out maybe a year or two after Breaking Dawn, I probably would’ve ate it up but now, it just shows how bad of a character Edward is and how crappy of a writer Stephanie Meyer is. Edward was incredibly toxic and very creepy. Because he couldn’t read Bella’s mind he projected everything he wanted in a partner onto her and she willingly became that because she was so brainwashed by him. I’ve tried MULTIPLE times to finish this book but I can’t and I have to let it go.
