So, I know the author warned us in the synopsis that this was going to get real bonkers, real quick and well, the author delivered. Unfortunately, it wasn't to my taste of bonkers and the whole last bit made me feel a bit ick. I also think that this felt very different to the previous two books in the series. This was not the slowly built agonizing burn but felt every inch the instalove it was. That's fine, I didn't expect different, but I also didn't connect to these characters as much. Then the plot went off the rails and I was like ope, not for me, thanks. I'll be continuing with the series but I've satisfied my need to read bonkers romance for now
