A Flicker in the Dark by Stacy Willingham

dark mysterious tense fast-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? It's complicated

The writing was easy to read and I have absolutely no complaints about the plot or characters. I feel like it was a thoroughly well written book. I enjoyed being on edge the whole time.
The only thing I didn’t like, was the fact that it’s the third book where dad takes the fall for his son being a murderer and it just feels like that could’ve been a little bit different so it would’ve been a little bit more original.
Other than that this is a close to perfect book!
