Ugh I knew this was going to be good, but not that damn good.
Although short (to me ;) ) this book was full of all the things that take a book that much farther for me to love it so much I lose sleep because of it.
That forbidden & age gap aspects had me right in its clutches!
Ros & Shane are COMPLETE opposites but they are something else entirely and I was there for it all.
That first meeting outside had me so giddy and I had just started reading the book for crying out loud.
We all love a bad boy though don't we? add in a bike and that "don't fuck with me attitude", phew! I understood Ros all the more at that moment.
There is of course that pesky rough part and I did get misty eyed because Ros was crying, I couldn't help it. This boy just had a way of grabbing on and wouldn't let go. He was so innocent but not so much that he couldn't see exactly the situation that he knew was wrong. When he grew his backbone he did it all the way without looking back to see what his future would be like now.
This book laid the best foundation to get to know the rest of the characters mentioned in this book. I am curious about the wild man, this is a iykyk type of lead in. If you don't then I guess you need to meet Ros & Shane first ;)
