In the previous book, we say how much Lyra was obsessed with Thatcher. And here we saw how she loved him so much. And it was so heartbreaking seeing her going through all those feelings at the start of the book. She is just so amazing. 

Thatcher. My man. He really surprised me. I mean he is just as obsessed with her and loves her. The way he serves 'cares about nobody but her' so well. She is his sanity. She owns everything of him.

They are just so amazing together. They survived everything because they had each other. They completed each other. They fit so perfectly. And match each other's energy.

I love their bond with the other characters. And see all of them together. The way the other boys and girls dropped everything so they could be there for each other. It was just so amazing. 😍
