The ABCs of Disabilities by Sean Gold

5.0

The ABCs of Disabilities by Sean Gold is an invaluable resource for families, teachers, therapists, and anyone looking for more ways to learn and start conversations about disabilities.

Each letter of the alphabet has information about the ways children with disabilities learn, move, and access an often non-accessible world.

Almost every page also includes a question to further extend learning and discussion, and will help prompt non-disabled children to think about how someone with a disability might have more similarities to them than they originally thought. The illustrations are bright and inviting, and showcase children with disabilities enjoying their life with utmost joy.

I'm excited to share this resource with my school community. Thank you, Sean for gifting me an advance reader copy!
