I liked this, but not as much as the first. Unfortunately, it suffers from being Too Long And For What. I really loved how Oraya's grief was portrayed and watching her slowly overcome it. I also loved the complexity of all the relationships and seeing her (and Raihn) work it out between them. I found myself almost wishing that this was a trilogy though, because I think the second half could really use some work in the pacing department. The end was very grand but also rushed? In some ways, it didn't feel earned. But that's me being picky, I still enjoyed this overall and had fun reading it.
