This was a random library borrow because the cover caught my eye and then the blurb grabbed me. After a slew of DNFs, this was refreshingly intriguing. The intrigue mostly kept up for enough of the book that I read it to completion. Many aspects were predictable, but there was a twist or two that I hadn’t suspected—well done.

Based on this experience, I am open to reading more from this author.
