Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women That a Movement Forgot by Mikki Kendall

I appreciate this author in so many ways. This book is a wake up call to analyze the way we interact with each other and do better. It is a call out against harmful narratives and a call in for those who haven’t done the work on their own internal biases. I feel that every white feminist could learn something from her and we could all make the world a better place, at least just a little bit, if we tried these tactics.
