Who would've thought that my first read of 2021 would be a 5⭐?! Those who (especially white folk) who said this was not a thriller are liars. My anciety was through the roof. This is partially the reality of marginalized people throughout the United States. You have to be be crazy or just plain prejudice to not see how good this book is. This is my 1st Alyssa Cole book and I will now be reading the rest of her books.
