Linda Howard is by far one of my favorite authors in the romantic suspense genres. While this wasn't my favorite, it was still really good.

I really wish more of the initial plot line element was spread more throughout the book. The main plot was mentioned in the first 50 pages, and then we don't proceed with it until the last 100 pages. Don't get me wrong though, I still loved reading a LH book. She does such a great job of making the romance elements realistic without being overly mushy. I genuinely believe the H&H like each other. It wasn't a wham bam out of nowhere romance.

I also love how LH always always has hilarious moments in her books, she always makes me LOL, often in pubic. LOL
